Dayo Shrine, located in the scenic city of Zao, Yamagata Prefecture, is dedicated to the Shinto god of fire, Upper Prince (Ōjin no Ō), and the rice goddess, Kagami-boko, as well as Emperor Kinmei. The shrine's architecture reflects the Heian period style, with a prominent torii gate.
