難波神社

難波神社 is a Shinto shrine located in Osaka Prefecture, dedicated to the deity Susanoo, known as Ōsōjin no Kami in Japanese. The shrine's architecture is characteristic of the Koyasan style, with a wooden torii gate and a vermilion gate. The shrine complex also includes several smaller shrines enshrined to various kami.

Cultural notes

Susanoo Ōsōjin no Kami is often associated with storms and fertility. The shrine hosts an annual festival to commemorate Susanoo's defeat of his brother, Yamatotakeru.
