Inusato Shrine, located in Okayama Prefecture, is one of Japan's most famous Shinto shrines dedicated to Inari Okami, the deity of rice and fertility. The shrine complex dates back to the Nara period (710-794 CE) and features a unique architectural style known as 'kabane-zukuri,' with its thatched roofs and earthen walls. Visitors can walk through the forested grounds and explore the various buildings, including the main hall, the shrine of Inari Okami's 8th-century wooden statue, and the traditional Japanese tea house.
