Located in the Hyogo prefecture, Shiranui no Mizu no Kami Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the water god, Shiranui-no-kami, who is said to have been involved with the founding of the city of Akashi. The shrine's architecture and design reflect its origins as a coastal temple dating back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE).
