氷川神社 is a Shinto shrine located in the town of Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to Hachiman-gu, the kami associated with war and health, as well as several other regional deities. The shrine's main hall was rebuilt during the Edo period, while the traditional torii gate remains from the Heian era.

Cultural notes
氷川神社 is famous for its association with Hachiman-gu, who is said to have visited the area during a plague. The shrine also hosts an annual Hachiman Festival in April, which features traditional dances and performances.

The shrine was originally established in the 8th century, but its current form dates back to the Kamakura period.
