White Mountain Shrine, located in Osaka's Chuo Ward, is one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan and a significant site for the local community. Dedicated to the deity of Mt. White (also known as Yaezuka), the shrine was originally built during the Nara period (710-794 CE) and has undergone numerous renovations throughout its history. The shrine's traditional architectural style reflects the Heian period (794-1185 CE), with a vermilion torii gate, wooden shinden-zukuri main hall, and ornate tile-roofed shrine buildings.
