Located in the scenic town of Minamisato, in Ibaraki Prefecture, Taiwa-guchi Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of the sea and fishing, Okinari, as well as the storm god, Raijin. Founded during the Nara period, the shrine's architecture reflects its age with a combination of traditional Japanese and Chinese elements.
