天満宮

Shiga

Located in the city of Hikone, Shiga Prefecture, Tenman-ji Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of prosperity and good fortune, Tenjin. Built in 1844 during the Edo period, the shrine's main hall features a striking red lacquer exterior. Visitors can explore the shrine grounds, which include several smaller shrines and gardens, as well as the Tenman-ji Museum showcasing local art and history.
