Ise Shrine, also known as Hiyoshi Taisha in Shizuoka Prefecture, is a revered Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity Hiyoshi Okami. Located near Mount Haku, the shrine is believed to be one of the oldest shrines in Japan, with a history dating back to the 8th century. As a result of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, the shrine was relocated to its current site, while the original temple remains nearby.
