Inaka Shrine, located in Akita Prefecture, is dedicated to the worship of Rice Goddess Amaterasu Omikami and the Shinto god of agriculture, Inari Okami. This shrine, which dates back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE), boasts a unique architectural style characteristic of the Hakata-style, reflecting its strong connections with the ancient Hachinohe region.

Cultural notes
