伊豆神田神社

Ishie-dera, located in the town of Aishi on the southern coast of Izu Peninsula in Shiga Prefecture, is a sacred Shinto site dedicated to the god of the sea and prosperity, Oomiya Mikoto's predecessor deity. The shrine complex features a vermilion torii gate, a five-story pagoda, and several traditional structures dating back to the Heian period. Visitors can experience the beauty of the surrounding Izu Peninsula while paying respects to the shrine's kami.

Founded in 1185 by the Kamakura shogunate as a military base for their naval forces, Ishie-dera has been an important shrine for over two centuries.
