Located in the city of Hikone, Shiga Prefecture, Ifukuji Shrine is dedicated to the god of victory and wisdom, Hachiman. The shrine is famous for its beautiful gardens and traditional architecture. Ifukuji Shrine was originally built during the Nara period (710-794 CE) but has undergone numerous renovations throughout its history, particularly during the Kamakura period (1185-1333 CE).
