Visitor tip

Cultural notes
This shrine is associated with the legend of Izumi no Okami, a water god believed to protect travelers and ensure safe passage along the nearby Izu River. During Higan, local residents also visit the shrine's neighboring Izu River Waterfall for good luck and prosperity blessings.
