綾瀬北野神社

綾瀬北野神社 is a Shinto shrine located in the town of Ōtuka, Ibaraki Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to the god of agriculture and fertility, Kanezuki-no-kami, as well as the god of longevity and prosperity, Taira-no-masakado-no-kami. According to local legend, the shrine was established in 1199 during the Heian period, when it was originally known as 'North Otsuka Shrine.' Over time, the shrine has undergone several renovations and expansions, including a major restoration in the 17th century. Today, visitors can explore the shrine's traditional torii gate, beautifully landscaped gardens, and historic buildings.
