Cultural notes
Inari is often depicted as a kami of rice, prosperity, and fertility. The shrine's famous treasure hall contains thousands of gold coins and iridescent lacquerware donated by devotees seeking good fortune. During New Year's (Oshogatsu), shrine visitors write wishes on paper lanterns to be hung from the torii gates.

Built in 1630 during the Edo period
