Located in the town of Tomida, Ibaraki Prefecture, Ifoshi Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god Inari Okami. The shrine's main hall and the eight shrines forming the torii gate are adorned with thousands of vermilion pillars, creating a striking sight. Founded in 1690, the shrine was originally known as Wakamiya Shrine, named after the nearby 'Wakamiya' stream, which is said to be the birthplace of Inari Okami.
