御霊神社

Located in the city of Kobe, Shitenno-ji御霊神社 is a historic Shinto shrine that has been worshiping the deity of the Eight-Buddha (Hachiman) since its establishment in 553 AD. The shrine complex features various architectural styles from different historical periods, including the original Heian-era hall and the Kamakura-style main hall. The shrine's grounds also house a number of unique features such as the Five-Story Pagoda and the Ohashi Shrine, dedicated to the gods of the sea and the mountains.
