Inari Okami Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the town of Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture, dedicated to Inari Okami, the Shinto god of rice and fertility. The shrine is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates that form a tunnel leading up to the main hall. Visitors can take a photo in front of the gates or purchase amulets as souvenirs. The shrine is also known for its traditional Japanese architecture and serene garden.

Cultural notes
Inari Okami Shrine is famous for its fox kami, known as Inari Foxes, which are believed to be messengers of the god. The shrine is also associated with the annual Omisoka festival on December 31st, where visitors pray for good luck and health in the coming year.
