Located in the town of Sōsa, Ibaraki Prefecture, Ten no Yama Shrine is a Shinto temple dedicated to the god of rice and fertility, Ryūjin, as well as the sun goddess Amaterasu. The shrine's architecture reflects its role as an important rice-producing region, with buildings designed to resemble traditional Japanese granaries.
