Yakushi-ya Shinmei Jinja is a Shinto shrine in Higashi-Akita City, Akita Prefecture. Dedicated to the god of medicine and healing, it is one of Japan's oldest shrines, with a history dating back to the Heian period (794-1185). The shrine complex features a large torii gate and a beautiful garden. Visitors can pray for good health and well-being.
