The Shitennō-ji Temple's branch in Hyogo Prefecture, Mamegakugi-jō, is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity of good fortune and prosperity, Shitennō. The shrine is believed to have been founded during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), making it one of the oldest shrines in Japan.
