秋葉神社

Miyagi

Located in the heart of Sendai, Akiba Shrine is a historic Shinto temple dedicated to the god of rice and fertility, Hachiman. Built in 1646 during the Edo period, the shrine's main hall features a striking gable roof and adorned with vibrant autumn leaves. The shrine's grounds also contain a sacred oak tree believed to have healing properties.

Visitor tip
