Located in the town of Hitachi, Ibaraki Prefecture, Eighteen Hara Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Fujin, the wind god, and Raijin, the thunder god. The shrine is famous for its distinctive double gate structure, known as yagura, which features two concentric gates with different types of roof tiles. Visitor tip

Cultural notes
As a shrine dedicated to Fujin, Eighteen Hara Shrine is often visited during the annual Wind Festival (Koyō Matsuri), which takes place in April. The festival features traditional wind-powered lanterns and performances.
