The Dayo Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Dedicated to the kami of the forest and rice, the shrine is situated at the foot of Mount Kuribayashi. Historically, the shrine played an important role as a stopover for travelers on their way to Okunoshima Island, famous for its beautiful scenery and ancient shrines.
