Ai-odon no Yasaka Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the heart of Osaka, dedicated to the kami (deity) Ai-odon, also known as Ame-no-Uzume. The shrine's history dates back to the Heian period, with its origins tracing back to the legendary goddess Ai-odon who descended upon Mount Ashitaka during a war. According to myth, Ai-odon brought an end to the conflict by announcing the withdrawal of her husband's forces. Today, visitors can still see ancient artifacts and traditional architecture that reflect the shrine's rich history.
