Located in the city of Ena, Shizuoka Prefecture, the East Eight-Headed Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity Susanoo-no-Mikoto, who is said to have been involved in the founding of the shrine. The shrine's name refers to its original eight shrines that were later consolidated into one.
