Located in Iwase-cho, Oku-Misawa, in the mountains of Ishikawa Prefecture,八幡神社 is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god Susanoo-no-kami. The shrine is famous for its beautiful architecture and scenic surroundings. It was originally built during the Heian period (794-1185) but was destroyed and rebuilt several times due to natural disasters. Today, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ishikawa Prefecture.

Visitor tip
