Outakujinja, also known as Outa no Kami Taisha, is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Yonezawa, Yamagata Prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to the deity of the sea, particularly the god of fishing and navigation, and is said to be built on the site where the 13th-century Japanese pirate lord, Ōta Sōrin, was killed. The shrine's architecture is characterized by a unique style that blends traditional Shinto elements with Chinese influences.
