Ifukamé-jinja is a Shinto shrine located in the town of Shiroishi, Miyagi Prefecture. It is famous for its beautiful and historic architecture, as well as its connection to the legendary samurai Minamoto no Yoshitsune. The shrine is said to have been built in 1199 by Minamoto no Yoshitsune, who used it as a hiding place during the Genpei War.
