Located in Osaka, Ifukuji Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of war, Sukuna Murakumo no Tsukino, but it is also famous for its relationship with the legendary sword Kusanagi, which was said to have been created by the god Susanoo no Mikoto. The shrine's name "Ifukuji" refers to the legend that Susanoo's sister, Amaterasu, was forced to drink sake made from rice grown in this area as punishment.
