Indra Shrine in Akita is dedicated to the Shinto god Amaterasu, and also has an enshrined deity related to rice, known as Inari Okami. The shrine's architecture reflects the Heian period style and features a large torii gate. Visitors can experience traditional Japanese culture through festivals and rituals, including the famous rice-throwing festival during the Akita Matsuri.
