Located in the city of Gokashima, Shiga Prefecture, RyōryŇūng-wō ( Ryŏryu 癴トん訾) is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Ryŏryu, the dragon god. The shrine's name roughly translates to 'Dragon King's Palace' and is believed to have been established during the Edo period (1603-1867). Ryŏryu is revered as a symbol of good luck, prosperity, and protection.
