Next door to the famous Nikko Toshogu, Next door to the famous Nikko Toshogu is Ibaraki's most famous Shinto shrine, located in a tranquil forested area on the shores of Lake Chuzenji. The shrine is dedicated to Fujin, the god of wind and storms, as well as Ise no kami (the sacred deity from Ise). Built during the Heian period, Next door to the famous Nikko Toshogu features traditional Japanese architecture with a beautiful garden.
