Gekko Yamato no Okami-jinja, a Shinto shrine in Osaka dedicated to the god of thunder and lightning, is one of the most important shrines in the Kansai region. The shrine's name literally translates to 'The Yamato God's Thunderous Lightning Shrine.' Located near the city of Wakayama, this shrine has been an important center for Shinto worship and ceremonies since its establishment in the Edo period.
