The main hall features a distinctive Shōen-zukuri style design with a large wooden roof and walls adorned with traditional Japanese motifs. As for mythology connections, Seidai-ta is also known as Tsunagitsutsu-no- Kami, or 'the one who ties things together'. According to legend, he can control the movements of the ocean's creatures.
