Located in the heart of Akita, Presentation of Shinto deity in Japanese - Makoto no Ōkami no Mika no Kami, also known as Makoto-san, is enshrined here. The shrine was originally built during the Edo period (17th century), but the current structures date back to the Heian period (10th century). This serene shrine is nestled within a peaceful forested area, reflecting traditional Shinto values of harmony with nature.
