Dedicated to the deity Inari Okami, revered as the patron of agriculture and fertility. The shrine's architecture reflects the local Tohoku style, with a distinctive red torii gate. According to legend, the shrine was founded by a samurai who prayed for victory in battle, with his prayers answered at the Battle of Akizuki in 1181.
