Located in the city of Ishinomaki, Bridge Princess Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the goddess Matsuribayama-hime, also known as Tsukiyomi-no-Kami, who is believed to be the god of bridges and the protector of travelers. The shrine is situated near the famous Matsushima Island and is renowned for its stunning architecture and beautiful garden. The shrine's current structure dates back to the 17th century, but it has undergone several renovations over the years. Visitors can explore the shrine's main hall, which features a striking vermilion torii gate, as well as a beautiful pond surrounded by tranquil trees.
