Himeji-sha, a Shinto shrine in Hyogo Prefecture, is dedicated to the protection of its hometown and surrounding areas. Founded in 646 CE during the Asuka period, it has been rebuilt several times due to fires and natural disasters. The current main hall's architecture reflects the style typical of Heian-period temples.
