Located in Tottori Prefecture, Eight Humps Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the storm god Susanoo-no-Mikoto and his consort, Takemika-no-Kami. The shrine's name 'Hachimangu' is often used in reference to its main deity, Hachiman, a patron of warriors. The shrine complex features a distinctive octagonal torii gate and a large five-story pagoda. Visitors can experience the annual 'Yuki Matsuri' festival, which celebrates the arrival of winter, and participate in traditional dances and food offerings.
