治田神社

Located in the heart of Omi-Hachiman City, 治田神社 is one of Japan's oldest and most revered Shinto shrines. Dedicated to the god of agriculture, Kinroku-daimyo-oki-tsurugi, the shrine has a rich history dating back over 1,000 years. The shrine complex features a traditional Hōryū-ji-style main hall, surrounded by beautiful gardens and scenic views of Lake Biwa.
