Highmount Tadatoshi Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Okayama, dedicated to the kami of the High Mount, believed to be the dwelling place of Tadatoshi, a legendary daimyo who fought against the Tokugawa shogunate. The shrine is situated on the northern slope of the Mimasaka mountains and is known for its scenic beauty. According to local legend, the shrine was built in 1735 during the Great Tokugawa Shogunate period.
