Located in the city of Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, 光廣神社 is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu and the storm god Susanoo. The shrine's main hall, built during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), features a distinctive tiled roof with a curved eave, typical of the Yayoi period architectural style. The shrine is also famous for its beautiful gardens, which include a tea house and a pond with a unique floating pathway.
