Located in the city of Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, the Ōsachi Shrine is a Shinto temple dedicated to the god Ōsachi, who is believed to have been a local fisherman and hunter. The shrine's architecture reflects its historical significance as a sacred site for the production of wasabi, a condiment made from Japanese horseradish. Today, visitors can still see the remains of the original wasabi fields that once surrounded the shrine.
