Tokushima

Located in the heart of Tokushima, Tomoe no Mura Shirano-ya is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami Tomoe-no-Makoto. According to local legend, the shrine was founded by a descendant of Emperor Nintoku, and is said to be one of the oldest shrines in Japan.
