Located in the city of Toyama, Eight Horses Temple Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Inari Okami, known as Hachi no Yuju, or the Eight Horses. The shrine's main temple was rebuilt in 1681 during the Great Edo period after the original structure was destroyed by a flood. Today, visitors can admire the shrine's impressive torii gate, which is said to have been originally constructed in the Heian period.
