厄災落とし斎場 is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, dedicated to Hachiman, the god of war and medicine. The shrine's main hall was rebuilt in 1654 during the Edo period, featuring a distinctive tiled roof with a curved ridgepole. In Japanese mythology, Hachiman is believed to have helped the Imperial Court defeat the Emperors' enemies from the Yamato and Mutsu regions. Visitor tip
