Imamigaya Shrine, dedicated to the Shinto deity of the sea, Otohime, and its connection to the myth of Urashima Tarō, a fisherman who retrieved a scroll from the underwater palace of Ryujin. The shrine is also known for its beautiful gardens and historic architecture dating back to the Edo period.

Cultural notes
