Shimane

Autumn Leaves Shrine, dedicated to the Shitennō, a group of four deities representing the virtues of Buddhism and Shintoism. Located in the heart of Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, Autumn Leaves Shrine is famous for its beautiful autumn foliage and historic significance. Built in 1833, the shrine has undergone several renovations while maintaining its traditional architecture.
