Visitor tip
Please be respectful when approaching the shrine's torii gate. The site is considered sacred, and removing or damaging it is strictly prohibited.
Cultural notes
This shrine is dedicated to two deities: Iega-wo no kami (also known as Ōiwa-tori) and Hachiman. Ōiwa-tori is believed to be the god of wind, agriculture, and fishing, while Hachiman is a deity associated with war and protection.
